Company Profile
Trower Davies Limited’s core business can be broadly split into two separate sections, Planning and Technical. The first of these sections relates to the initial feasibility of various kinds of projects leading, where necessary, to the production of fully detailed planning designs. The second part of the business relates to providing architectural technical detailing. This technical detailing relates to schemes where Trower Davies have secured planning consent or where consent has been obtained by others.
Client Relationships
Our Portfolio of Clients include National House Building Companies, Housing Associations as well as Regional and Local Developers.
We undertake work across the whole of the UK. Feasibility and Planning work is usually confined to areas where we can offer best value. The Technical Department can work countrywide, as distance is no barrier to the types of work undertaken.
Trower Davies Limited employ several key Project Designers, who are both responsible for individual projects and are active team members on larger schemes.
Currently we have a partnership with Wenlock Health and Safety Limited who provide us with advice and training on both internal and external Health and Safety issues, including CDM 2015.
We maintain close contact with Civil and Structural Engineers, Landscape Architects, Fire Engineer’s, M&E designer’s, Energy Rating Consultants and can act as ‘Lead Consultant’ or design co-ordinators, if necessary.
Training and Development
Training is continually reviewed for both staff and Directors. Training and CPD events are regularly organised and attended.
The Company is a registered chartered practice of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (CIAT) and we actively encourage and support our staff in gaining full membership.
We have strong links with the University of West of England (UWE), whereby each year we take placement students studying Architectural Technology, to train, develop and expand their knowledge in this field. Many students have successfully gained their degrees and now work full time with us.
The Company maintains both Professional Indemnity Insurance and Public Liability Insurance.
All projects can be undertaken using the latest BIM compliant CAD software including Revit, ArchiCAD & AutoCAD.
